I enjoyed a charming stay, starting my mornings with a lovely continental breakfast featuring fresh bread, croissants, and homemade jam—a perfect energizer for the day ahead. The restaurant, L'Ormeau, is a true gem. I savored the farmed bouchot mussels, proving that innovation and tradition can coexist beautifully. The highlight was undoubtedly the abalone dish, which was exceptional and well deserving of its accolades. The ambiance paired well with the stunning view across the bay, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my meal. As a yachting enthusiast, I appreciated the hotel’s proximity to the beach and the local oyster market, where I experienced an instant tasting with a remarkable view. The hosts truly went the extra mile, ensuring attentive service even amidst the hustle of a busy season. While the warm temperature was a minor drawback, the open windows added a refreshing breeze. A lovely experience indeed!
